Winslow Raymond A. Dyer, 76, of Taylor Ave., died Mon. Sept. 19, 2005 at the Maine Veterans Home in Augusta. He was born in Monroe, Apr. 4, 1929, the son of Thomas and Leversie Maskell Dyer. Mr. Dyer attended high school and had his own business ''Dyer Well Drilling''. He served in the Navy Seabee Reserves. He was a life member of both the Bourque-Lanigan Post #5 American Legion and the Forest J. Pare VFW in Waterville. He was predeceased by his parents; three brothers, Kenneth, Ronald, and Ralph Dyer; and a sister, Myrtle Hubbard. Survivors include his significant other of 28 years, Alta Lambert of Winslow; a son, Gary Dyer and wife Paula of Albion; two daughters, Gail Dyer and husband James Peterson of Yarmouth and Kelly Hann of Fairfield; three sisters, Bernice Fish of Belfast, Lee Doering and Myra Powell both of Winslow; five grandchildren, Jessica Dyer, Zach Pollard, Gunnar Hann, Sam and Emma Peterson; many extended family including Meghan, Josh, Krysten Gormley of R.I.; Derek Harris, Taylor Rodriguez and Alaina Lambert; Jennifer Willette; Cassandra Conary; Lisa Lambert; Chuck Lambert; Lori Peterson; Norma Willette; Linda Gormley and Darlene Golodetz and by his former wife, Theresa ''Rodrigue'' Dyer and his loving companion, ''Rocky'' the dog. Visiting will be held 12 to 2 p.m. Sat. Sept. 24, 2005 at the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville with a funeral service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Military honors and burial will follow at Howard Cemetery in Winslow.
