Waterville Paula P. Simpson, 66, of Wentworth Court, died Fri., Feb. 26, 2010 at MaineGeneral Medical Center-Thayer Unit in Waterville. She was born in Fairfield, June 23, 1943, the daughter of Wallace and Hope Paquette. She was a high school graduate. She had worked in the office at Keyes Fibre Co. and later was a homemaker at home. Survivors include her husband, Robert Simpson of Waterville whom she married Dec. 26, 1963; two sons, Robert Simpson of Oakland and Jonathan Simpson of Hillsboro, N.C.; a daughter, Michelle Simpson of Waterville; two brothers and their wives, Wallace Paquette Jr. and Lorena of Augusta and Don Paquette and Carol of Taunton, MA; four sisters and their husbands, Constance Laflamme and Dan, Prudence Moody and Mike all of Fairfield, Deborah Veilleux of Providence, R.I. and Susan Ross and John of Cumberland; a former sister-in-law, Jackie Chadbourne of Canaan. She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Robert and Thomas Paquette; and by a sister, Rebecca Paquette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Mon. Mar. 1, 2010 at Sacred Heart Church, 72 Pleasant St., Waterville. Burial will follow in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Grove St., Waterville.
