Winslow -- Patricia Joan Toulouse 80 died Wednesday October 9, 2013 at Lakewood Continuing Care Center with family at her bedside. She was born in Waterville, Maine on February 15, 1933 the daughter of W.P. Carroll and Marie Anne Rodrigue Toulouse. She was a graduate of Mount Merici Academy and attended Thomas College. Joan was formerly employed as a secretary for Boothby and Bartlett Insurance Agency for many years then went on to work as manager for ten years for Waterville Travel Agency. She was an avid travel agent who traveled extensively with her sister Jackie and her many friends. She was an avid Beano player at Lakewood Manor. She was a member of the "Foxy Ladies" Line Dancers who performed at local nursing homes. She also loved cooking , especially pastries. Her nieces and nephews meant the world to her. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother: Carroll Toulouse, Jr. and his wife Cecile and Pat's sister: Jacqueline Toulouse Morrissette. She is survived by her brother: Donald Toulouse and his wife Arlene of Waterville and their children: Mary Toulouse Wagner and husband F. Hartman Wagner III and their children Samuel Hartman Wagner and Elyse Mary Wagner and Marc Edward Toulouse and wife Shanyn and son Brendan Marc Toulouse; Brenda Toulouse and husband Stephan Hughes and children: Janelle Schulkind and Victoria Fortnam and their families; Gerard Toulouse and his wife Valerie and their children Tiffany Toulouse and Taylor Poulin. There will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 A.M. Sat. Oct. 19, 2013 at Notre Dame Church, 112 Silver St., Waterville. Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 78 Grove St., Waterville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Patricia's memory may be made to Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter, 19 Colby St., Waterville, ME 04901 or to Servants of Blessed Sacrament, 110 Silver St., Waterville, ME 04901.
