Belgrade-Michelle Marie Vintinner,51,passed away on Friday Oct 27, 2017 surrounded by her loving family after a short courageous battle with cancer. She was the glue of the family and had the biggest heart. Unfortunately her heart was tired and she could no longer fight. Michelle was born on December 12, 1965 daughter of Billy and Mary Jane Cobb. She married her husband and true love, Ralph Vintinner on July 30, 1994. Ralph and Michelle appreciated the beauty of their lakeside home on Great Pond and enjoyed hosting family and friends and sharing the lake. Michelle's greatest joy was raising her three children. Joshua Doody, Jennifer Biette and Christopher Mares. Michelle found her true calling, caring for others after the death of her father and became a registered nurse. She had a successful career as an oncology nurse at MaineGeneral. Michelle touched the lives of many patients and is fondly remembered by all those who crossed her path. In addition to caring for strangers Michelle and her husband Ralph lovingly welcomed Mary Jane into their home. \r\n \r\nMichelle was predeceased by her father, Billy Cobb, Sr.. and her grandmother Marie Curtis. Michelle is survived by her mother Mary Jane Cobb, husband Ralph Vintinner, sons Joshua Doody and Chris Mares, favorite daughter and best friend Jenn Biette and son-in-law, David, sister Debra Remmers and husband Mike, brother Bill and sister in law Martha, mother in law Ellen Martin, nephews, Cory Grard (Marissa) and Max Cobb and nieces Megan Grard and Katie Cobb, and many others. Michelle also leaves behind her fur babies, Rocket, Lily, Brady and Romo. \r\n \r\nThe family would like to thank special friends, Mary Stephens, Sue Levesque, Brynn Maynard, Mark Mansfield and Rose Chase for their support and love for Michelle. \r\n \r\nVisiting hours will be Wednesday, November 1,2017 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm Street, Waterville. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 2nd from 11am-2 pm. at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial Street, Waterville.
