Waterville Madeline L. Cook, 80, of Mulberry Lane, died Jan. 2, 2011 at Inland Hospital in Waterville. She was born in Waterville, Nov. 16, 1930, the daughter of Harold and Clara Drouin-Delaware Collins. Mrs. Cook had been a mill worker at Bates Mill and also an office clerk at Carney's Garage. She had been a member of the Eastern Star. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Stanley P. Cook. Survivors include four sons, Steven Cook and wife Paula of So. China, Danny L. Cook and wife Dee of Valdosta, GA., Kenneth H. and Andrew P. Cook both of Augusta; a daughter, Virginia A. Rickards and husband Randy of Union; seven grandchildren, Aaron, Sharon, Andy, Kaitlyn, Dylan, Shawn, and Joshua Cook; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Fri., Jan. 7, 2011 at the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. Burial will be in the spring in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta. A reception will be held at the Seton Village Center, 1 Carver St., Waterville directly after the funeral.
