Vassalboro Lucille B. Bailey, 76, of Riverside Drive in Vassalboro, died Monday, Apr. 5, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Waterville, June 4, 1933, the daughter of Lewis and Mary Louise Paradis Giroux. Lucille attended Winslow High School and was a 1951 graduate. She married Fred Bailey Sept. 16, 1951. Lucille retired from Keyes Fibre in 1987 after 22 years of employment there. She had also worked at C.F. Hathaway Shirt Co. for several years. For the last 15 years, she traveled to Florida for the winters with her husband Fred. She enjoyed toll painting as a hobby. She ran a shop called ''Tils Toll House'' on the Augusta Road in Vassalboro. She was very dedicated to her church, St. Bridgett's in Vassalboro. She was predeceased by her Dad and Mom. She is survived by son, Richard and companion Lisa and children Amanda, Katie, Felicia, and Portia all of Biddeford; son, Stephen and wife Jolene and children Matthew and Jeremy of Vassalboro; son, Ronald and wife Theresa and children Joshua, Jessica, Jared and Jordan of Vassalboro; son, Michael and wife Linda and sons Dominic, Douglas and Quincy of Oakland ; son, William and wife Roberta and daughters Blake and Taylor of Vassalboro; brother, Robert and wife Virginia of Plainville, CT.; brother, Richard and wife Carmen of Vassalboro; sister, Lorraine and husband Leroy of Farmingdale; and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tues., Apr. 6, 2010 at Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wed., Apr. 7, 2010 at St. Bridget's, 860 Main St., Vassalboro with Rev. Dan Baillargeon officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Apr. 12, 2010 in the new Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mount Vernon Road, Augusta.
