Waterville-- Leo G. Cote, 81, of Waterville died Aug. 4, 2014 at Oak Grove Center in Waterville. He was born in Waterville, Feb. 8, 1933 the son of Onesime and Stella Proulx Cote Sr. Leo was a high school graduate and attended Thomas Business School. He was a U.S. Navy radio operator during the Korean War. He had been an office manager for Clark Company. He loved hunting and fishing. He was a life member of the VFW, Lodge of Elks, and the American Legion. Survivors include two daughters, Paula Francoeur and husband Gary of Vassalboro and Pamela Berliner of N.H.; two brothers, Everett and Carl and wife Ruth of Waterville; two sisters, Lucille Giroux of Winslow and Dorothy E. Bernier of Waterville; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Leo was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Francis and Zim Cote; two sisters, Arlene Graham and Jeannette Doucette. The family wishes to thank Oak Grove and Maine General Hospice for their helpfulness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. Tues., Aug. 12 at Notre Dame Church, 116 Silver St., Waterville. Burial with Military Honors will be at 2 P.M. Tues. in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta.
