Waterville Jolene Carole Walters, 72 of Waterville, Me. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015 at Lakewood Manor Nursing Home. Jolene was born on May 29th, 1943 the daughter of Edith and Joseph George. She graduated from Lawrence High School, class of 1961. Jolene worked for various companies in the greater Waterville area as well as volunteering her time to organizations close to her heart. She and her husband Larry loved to travel. Together they enjoyed destinations to Grand Canyon, Greece, Italy, Myrtle Beach and visits to Missouri. She had a strong passion for the ocean, loved her crafts and always had a project in the works. Most importantly, she cherished her time with her family and close friends. She was a loving and caring Mother and Grandmother who always put her family first. She was always there when you needed her. Jolene was caring, loving and generous to everyone. Jolene is survived by her brother Michael George and his wife Rose of Oakland, Me. A daughter Tammy Longstaff of Falmouth, Me, her husband Tim Longstaff and their children Joshua and Jacob Longstaff. A daughter Terri Clark of Litchfield NH, her husband Richard Clark and children Ryan and Ashley Clark. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years Larry Walters, her mother Edith George, and her father Joseph George. A service will be held at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery Committal Chapel, 305 Civic Center Drive, Augusta, Me. at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015.
