Waterville Jeanne Bernier Cloutier Grivois, 80, died Feb. 23, 2008 at the Woodlands in Waterville. She was born Jan. 7, 1928 in Waterville the daughter of Arthur and Marguertie LeBlanc Bernier. Jeanne was educated in Waterville Catholic Schools and married Jules A. Cloutier May 18, 1952 at the age of 28. Jules predeceased her on June 30, 19712. They had three children. Jeanne was a devoted mother and had a strong work ethic. She worked in the Food Service Industry , most notably the Spa at Colby College, Steves Restaurant, and in her later years at the lunch counter at Lalimes Drug Store where she gained a reputation for her soups. She loved people and her cheerful service exemplified ''The smile you send out always returns.'' Jeanne was an instrumental force in the lives of her two grandchildren, Travis and Megan Lewis who lived locally and knew her affectionately as ''Mimi''. Jeanne is survived by her sister, Martha Parker; her brothers, Roger Bernier and wife Becky and Romeo Bernier; sister, Juliet Rae and husband Robert; her son, Jules Cloutier and wife Susan Thompson-Cloutier; daughter, Marguerete ''Peggy'' Wilihan and husband Patrick and their two sons, Mathew and Andrew; daughter, Celeste Lewis and Mike Goodhue; and Celeste's children, Travis and Megan Lewis. ''We Love You Mimi!'' In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society Waterville Area, 100 Webb Rd., Waterville, ME 04901 for her love of animals.
