Jeanne S. Carver passed away on January 18, 2014 surrounded by the love of her family. She is survived by her parents: Lorraine and Robert Gagne of Manchester N.H.; her two siblings: Cecile Gagne of Salem, MA and Gerry Gagne, Manchester, NH; and four children: Anthony Carver, David Carver and Nicholas Carver all of Waterville; and Jessica Herzog of Montreal, CAN. She is also survived by two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Jeanne was an amazing woman. A proud school bus driver for the Winslow School System, she cared for every child she transported. She was the kind of woman who loved everyone she cared about unconditionally and expected nothing in return; from baking food for you, to trying to move the world for you if it would make you feel better. She loved all the little things in life. She would park her car on a bridge to take pictures of a beautiful sky. Jeanne had a green thumb; she could bring back the most lifeless plant. She enjoyed spending hours in her vegetable garden with her cat Tom and gave away almost everything she grew. She had a talent for crocheting and other crafts. She loved to talk about the new things she learned from alternative medicines, to different Idiots in politics. Everyone she loved was always welcome for an "awesomistic" homemade organic dinner at her table. Some people called her "The Bus Driver", some people called her "The Plant Lady", or "The Organic Girl" or even a "Conspiracy Theorist", but we called her Jeanne, Memere, Mom, Sister, Daughter, and Friend. We will always love and forever miss you, Jeanne. A celebration of life will be held on February 1st, 2014 at 1pm VFW in Fairfield. Anyone who knew Jeanne is welcome to attend. Donations will be accepted for this event payable to Anthony Carver.
