Waterville Maine\r\n\r\nDakota (Cody) Christopher James Price, 20, of Great Barrington Massachusetts, passed away on Saturday February 5th, 2022 in his home. \r\nCody was born in Monroe, North Carolina on July 17th, 2001, the son of Misty Wright (Perkins) and Shawn Wright. He graduated from the Penobscot Job Corp Center, Bangor Me, in July of 2018 with various certifications.\r\nCody worked primarily in the hospitality and retail field. \r\nCody was a very nurturing young man, loved animals, children, and always looked out for the 'little guy'. He was a big gamer, preferred retro games and systems rather than the newer generation, and he was an avid reader. Cody had a wide range of interests ranging from Greek mythology to marvel super hero's and horror flicks to My Little Pony. He was very passionate about his family and friends. He put those he loved above himself and would ensure their safety, happiness, and well-being before his own. He was a rock and solid foundation for his family. \r\nHe was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Joan Perkins, Uncle Scott Perkins, and Great Uncle Ralph Perkins. And over the rainbow bridge is sweet Lilly.\r\nHe is survived by his mother Misty Wright, dad Shawn Wright, Sister Diamon Price (Christian Grahm), sister Jessica Cooper, brother Tommy Price, maternal grandparents Edward and Yvonne Perkins, Paternal grandparents Tom and Teresa Wright and Joel and Doris Carter, Aunt Kelly Bouchard (Justin), Aunt Jamie Wright (Zak), cousins April and Kira Wright, Uncle Joe Wright (Gail), Uncle Eddie Draughn (Jennifer). And his furry little sisters Mae and Daisy.\r\nA celebration of life will be held on February 19th, 2022 at the Waterville VFW, 51 Water Street, Waterville. will be from 12-2pm and a potluck lunch.. \r\nThe family would like to thank family and friends for their words of support and condolences. \r\nArrangements are under the direction and care of Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm Street, Waterville.
