Yvonne Nemer Obituary (1932 - 2014)

Waterville -- Yvonne Nemer, 81, of Waterville, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Lakewood in Waterville. She was born in Waterville, Aug. 14, 1932, the daughter of William and Isabelle Elhilow Nemer. Yvonne had been the Assistant Activity Director at the former Waterville Convalescent now Oak Grove Nursing Home. She was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order. She was also a member and Sacristan of St. Joseph Maronite Catholic Church . She was predeceased by a brother, Maroon Nemer. She is survived by a sister, Theresa Nemer of Waterville; and by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 7 to 9 P.M. Friday, April 4th, 2014 at Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville with a Wake Service at 8 P.M. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11 A.M. Sat., April 5, 2014 at St. Joseph Maronite Catholic Church, Front St., Waterville with Rev. Larry Jensen officiating. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Yvonne's memory may be made to St. Joseph Maronite Catholic Church, 3 Appleton St., Waterville, ME 04901.
