Richaard Romeo Breard Obituary (1932 - 2009)

Waterville Richard Romeo Breard went home to the Lord and to be reunited with the love of his life, Noella Rossignol on Sat. Sept. 5, 2009. He was born in Waterville Mar. 7, 1932, the son of Napoleon and Marie Anne LaRochelle Breard. He worked at the C.F. Hathaway Co. for 40 years. This is where he met and worked with Noella. Their friendship grew to be much more. She shared with him her loving family. They took him in with open arms and gave him so much love and joy. He was a communicant of Notre Dame Church. As a young man her enjoyed fishing on Moosehead Lake. In later years he enjoyed time at his camp on Snow Pond, fishing with his brother, Francis and his friend, Roger Pooler. He was a good bowler and pool player. He enjoyed playing cribbage with his family and anyone who would challenge him. What meant the most to Richard was his family. Anyone who was loved by Richard was very fortunate for he loved unconditionally and unselfishly. He protected the people he loved and took care of them and never complained when things got rough. He was predeceased by his mother, father and Noella Rossignol. He is survived by his brothers, Clement Breard and his wife Jeannette, Francis Breard and his companion Barbara Varney and Leo Breard; step-daughter, Carole Pooler and her husband Roger; his grandchildren, Valerie Giguere, Donald Giguere and his companion Seth Knapp, Timothy Giguere and his wife Althea, Kelley Cloutier and her husband Dwayne and their children Nicholas and Jayme Cloutier; nieces, Barbara LaCroix and her husband Lucien, Valerie Wright and her husband David; nephews, Mike Breard and his wife Jeanne, Raymond Breard and his wife Brenda, David Breard and his wife Becky, Paul Breard and his wife Rhonda and Darryl Breard and his wife Regina; and many great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Mount St. Joseph for the excellent care and friendship that they gave to Richard during his time there. At his request there will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sat., Sept. 12, 2009 at 9 a.m. at Notre Dame Church, 112 Silver St., Waterville. Burial will be in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Waterville. Arrangements are with the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville.
