Pamela Jean Poulin-Bryant Obituary (1969 - 2015)

Waterville, Pamela J. Poulin-Bryant, 45, passed away peacefully at her home on Sat., Mar. 14, 2015 following a long battle with breast cancer. Pam was surrounded by her loving family. Pam was born Mar. 22, 1969 in Waterville the daughter of Daniel P. Poulin and Phyllis M. Johnson Coe both of Waterville. Pam was a graduate of Winslow High School's class of 1988. She furthered her education at the University of Maine at Augusta. She pursued her passion for psychology and helping others in her career at Northeast Occupation Exchange. Pam was an avid traveler, darting off to exotic locations all around the world. She especially loved Florida and Hawaii. She enjoyed dance when she was younger and continued to enjoy it through watching her loving daughter. A NASCAR fan, Pam often would travel to catch a race with family and friends. Her favorite driver was Jeff Gordon. She loved being with her family the most, enjoying camping, jet skiing, and family outings. Pam courageously fought breast cancer for over 16 years. She will be remembered most as a loving and caring person, but especially for her will and determination in fighting cancer. She never lost hope for a cure. She was very active in the fight of cancer and belonged to many support groups. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Eric Bryant of Thorndike; her daughters, Danielle M. Poulin of Tarpon springs, FL., Taylor L. Poulin of Waterville, and Mariah L. Bryant of Belgrade; mother, Phyllis M. Johnson Coe of Waterville; father, Daniel P. Poulin of Waterville; brother, Daniel J. Poulin; nephew, Matthew Poulin; niece, Emma C. Poulin all of Palmyra, VA.; brother, Michael A. Poulin of Farmington; niece, Sophia E. Poulin of Dixfield; sisters-in-law, Deborah A. Poulin of Palmyra, VA, and Bethany S. Poulin of Dixfield. Pam is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family would like to give a special thanks to the following individuals who have helped or supported Pam in her courageous battle: Dr. Audrey Garrett of Brewer for her excellent care throughout the years; Barbara J. Owen for her years of care and support; Hospice Volunteers of Waterville for their support in her last days; Dr. Charles Tingley, Clinical Director at NOE, for his many years of support and kindness; her cousin, Brenda Barns; close friend Robin MacFarland and Aunt, Linnie Flournoy for their help and support.
