May Michael Baker Obituary (1921 - 2009)

Waterville May Michael Baker, 88, of Water Street, died Thurs. May 21, 2009 at her residence. She was born in Waterville May 15, 1921 the daughter of Frederic and Emma Mercier Landry. She was a high school graduate. She retired from the Wyandotte Mill as a spinner. Survivors include a son, Fred Michael and his wife Arlene of Raymond; three daughters, Janice Petrykowski and husband George of Candler, N.C., Pamela Rodrigue of Waterville and Linda Phair of Fairfield; a brother, Robert Landry of Elkin; two sisters, Rita Huard of Waterville and Viola Sandulsky of Smithfield; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchilddren; and by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Mike Michael; her parents; a brother, Edgar Landry; and by a sister, Teresa Lyons. Visiting hours will be held 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wed. May 27, 2009 at the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thurs. May 28, 2008 in Pine Grove Cemetery, Grove St., Waterville.
