M. Odile Madore Obituary (1915 - 2008)

Waterville and Winterville M. Odile Deschaine Madore, 93 of Waterville and Winterville, died surrounded by her family at Mount St. Joseph Holistic Care Center in Waterville Mon., Oct. 13, 2008. One of 11 children, she was born in Daigle, Maine daughter of Beatrice Roy and Denis Deschaine. She was predeceased by her husband, Adrien; a son, Reynold and brothers, Isadore, Leo, Phillip, Lezime, ''Lee'' and Joe Deschaine; sisters, Rose Anna ''Rose'' Deschaine Belanger, Ann Deschaine Leonard, Betty Deschaine Deschaine, and Flevie Deschaine Potvin. She will always be remembered as a loving, selfless and devoted Mom and grandmother with an inner strength drawn from a deep and unwavering faith. We, her children, are blessed by having had her in our lives. She is survived by four sons, Ervin of Corrales, NM, Nelson of Waterville and East Falmouth, MA., Gilman of Augusta, Clayton of Eagle Lake; three daughters, Verna of Albion, Mae of Bar Harbor, Greta of Albion; two granddaughters, Maren of Fall River, MA and Ginny of North Conway, N.H.; one sister, Mrs. Urby Annette Cyr of Frenchville; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Fri., Oct. 17th at Daigle Nadeau Funeral Home in Eagle Lake. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Sat., Oct. 18th at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Eagle Lake. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Mary's, Eagle Lake. Local arrangements are with the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville.
