Katherine F. Lemelin Obituary (1920 - 2006)

Fairfield Katherine F. LeCours Lemelin, 86, of Middle Road, died unexpectedly Aug. 9, 2006 at her residence. She was born in Waterville, July 10, 1920, the daughter of Charles and Carmeline Richards Fecteau. Mrs. Lemelin had been a nurse/receptionist for Dr. Richard Chasse for several years. She was a 1937 graduate of Waterville High School. She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband, Joseph H. LeCours, May 8, 1980 and by her second husband, Raymond G. Lemelin, Aug. 1, 1989. She is survived by three step-children, Daniel Lemelin of Charlotte, N.C., Marilyn Welch of Winslow and Rose Dwyer of Naples, FL.; a brother, Philmore Fecteau of Waterville; two sisters-in-law, Arlene Fecteau of Waterville and Frances Fecteau of Citrus Springs, FL.; eight nieces and nephews; nine step-grandchildren; many grand nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, at Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Sat., Aug. 12, at Sacred Heart Church, 70 Pleasant St., Waterville. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Mon., Aug. 14, at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive in Augusta. Condolences may be expressed at www.gallantfh.com
