Edward Kenneth Rich Obituary (1930 - 2015)

Waterville, Maine-Edward Kenneth Rich 85, died Sunday May 24, 2015 at the Hospice House in Auburn, Maine. He was born in Bangor, Maine on May 3, 1930 the son of Harold and Frances Barker Rich. He was educated in local schools and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a 50 year member of the Bourque-Lanigan American Legion Post here in Waterville and also a 50 year member of the Odd Fellows-Rebecca Club of Auburn. He was predeceased by his wife Leda Marie Rich who passed away January 2, 2014. He is survived by his step-sons: Roger Pelletier and wife Virginia of Ft. Kent, Stanley Pelletier and wife Dianna and Robert Pelletier and wife Janet all of Albion; step-daughters: Nancy Hoffman and husband Kurt of Escondido, Calif. and Laurel Cosintino of Mass. also by 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday May 28, 2015 at Notre Dame Church 116 Silver Street Waterville, Maine. Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery Grove Street Waterville, Maine. Arrangements were made through the Gallant Funeral Home 10 Elm Street, Waterville, Maine
