Deborah J. Quirion Obituary (1955 - 2011)

Oakland Deborah J. Quirion, 57, of Allagash Dr.in Oakland, died unexpectedly Thurs., Feb. 3, 2011 at MaineGeneral Med. Center in Waterville. She was born in Waterville, April 27, 1953, the daughter of Raymond and Judith Clark Carpenter. Mrs. Quirion was a Waterville High School graduate. She was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and had obtained 20 years of sobriety. She enjoyed fishing, outdoors camping and quilting. She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Doreen Dennis. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Quirion of Oakland; two daughters, Danielle Workman and Dana Kitchen both of Waterville; a step-son, John Quirion of Oakland; a step-daughter, Karla Glidden of Florida; a brother, Douglas Carpenter of Waterville; four sisters, Darla O'Neil and husband Michael, Deann Gamache, Dolly Carpenter all of Waterville and Martha Bolduc of Portland; ten grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011 at the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 7, 2011 at Notre Dame Church, 112 Silver St., Waterville. Burial will be in Lewis Cemetery in Oakland at a later date.
