Beatrice M. Albert Obituary (1926 - 2016)

WINSLOW - Beatrice M. Albert, 89 of Winslow, passed away January 23, 2016 at Lakewood Manor Nursing Home with her daughters by her side. She was born in Waterville on born October 16, 1926, a daughter of Louis and Alice (Duquette) Brochu. Beatrice worked at the Hathaway for 15 years, left to raise her family and then worked with her husband at their business, Ray's Auto Sales. Bea loved playing Bingo with her aunt and best friend, Marguerite Nadeau. Her favorite pass times were sewing, knitting, cooking, shopping and eating out. She was a devout Catholic who enjoyed attending mass on Sundays and breakfast afterwards with her son-in-law, Ramon. She enjoyed her annual trips to New Hampshire and spending time with her family. No one enjoyed decorating and celebrating Christmas with all of her family around more than Bea. We could always count on Bea to come up with a nickname for anyone she encountered. She had a great sense of humor! Bea will be sadly missed by her daughters whom she spent countless hours with at their homes, shopping and eating out. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Raymond P. Albert and her son, Dana M. Albert. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Debbie Belanger (The Cubb) and her husband, Rick (Jigs), from Winslow, Brenda Albert (Beau Gross) and her husband, Ramon (Bonne) of Oakland; 4 granddaughters, Kristen Crook (The Choux) and her husband, Paul (Stringbean) of North Carolina, Danielle Towle (Ti-Be-Doo) and her husband Max (Macadoo) of Clinton, Dana Harford (Pooch) of Waterville and Samantha O'Brien(Beau Pit) and her husband, Mike(Mink) of Ohio. She is also survived by one brother, Albert Brochu of Winslow. She is also survived by 4 granddaughters, Justine, Summer, Evelyn and Olivia. We would like to express our gratitude to the entire staff at Lakewood Manor Nursing Home In Waterville for their loving and exceptional care given to our mother, especially to Diane, "Our French Angel". A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 29th, at 11:00 a.m. at Notre Dame Church, 116 Silver Street, Waterville. Burial will be in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Waterville in the spring. Arrangement are under the care of the care of Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St. Waterville
